How do I place an order?

Firstly please contact me using the following form or send an email straight to [email protected], detailing what you have in mind. If you do not already know what size and medium you want for your painting I will discuss this with you and help make your decision.  Please include any photos you have of your subject, especially if it is of your pet! Once you have you made your decision you can place your order through the store where you will be taken through to a PayPal payment system. Once I have received payment I will send you a confirmation email and start painting!

How long will my painting take?
 
This depends entirely on the subject matter. For a straight forward Pet Portrait based on a clear photograph this can take me as little as two days. Please bear in mind that I also have a full-time day job and can only work on your painting and respond to emails on evenings and weekends. 

What if I don’t like my painting?
 
Well, that would be awkward. Once you have paid the transaction is final and I can offer no refunds. However, I will email you a photograph of your painting before I post it and I will be happy to make any reasonable alterations as requested.

Do I need a PayPal account to place an order?
 
No – although a PayPal system is used you can still use all major credit and debit cards without signing up to PayPal. PayPal is a fast and secure online payment system, read more here.

Will postage charges be added?
Nope! All prices already include postage and packaging (currently UK only, please contact me if you require shipping overseas). Paintings are posted 2nd class through Royal Mail and require a signature on delivery.  

Why are acrylic paintings more expensive than watercolour?
 
Two reasons. 1) – Acrylic materials are more expensive. Canvases cost more than watercolour paper and are chunkier so they require a higher postage and packaging cost. 2) Acrylic paintings take me longer to do! I love painting both equally however I admit I am more confident and can work faster in watercolour. 

Do you offer different sizes?
 
I prefer to stick to the sizes listed as the materials for these are readily available which helps keep costs down. Also any bigger than 9x12” and postage becomes trickier. However, please feel free to contact me to discuss other options and I will give you a quote. 

Do you just paint animals and landscapes?
 
Nope! I will paint anything! Well…within reason. Again, just contact me if you have something different in mind and I will give you a quote. Please browse my portfolio and tumblr to get an idea of the kind of work I do.
